THE REALITY STAR IS LEFT DEVASTATED ONCE AGAIN AS MORE CHEATING RUMOURS EMERGE
The old adage “Once a cheater, always a cheater” seems to be proving true in Khloé Kardashian’s case. Three years after Tristan Thompson, 30, was caught cheating on the reality star before she was due to give birth to their first child, the NBA star has allegedly been sprung stepping out on his recently reunited love once more.
Speaking on the No Jumper podcast, Instagram model Sydney Chase, 23, revealed she and Thompson had met in November and hooked up earlier this year. “He told me he was not in a relationship anymore, so I said OK,” she alleged. “We talked, we hung out multiple times, we went out together, everything.” But Chase said after finding out he wasn’t actually single, she “cut him off ”.
Later, during an Instagram Live, Chase doubled down on her claims against the Boston Celtics player. “Apparently Khloé is not his type but I’m his type,” she said. “He wanted the status and be able to keep that status … But he just called me and told me, ‘You’re what I like,’ and I’m like, ‘You’re with someone.’”
The Instagram model confessed she had spoken to Thompson as recently as three weeks ago, “the day after his daughter’s birthday party” and that “there’s no way [Khloé] doesn’t know” about his infidelity.
The news no doubt felt like déjà vu for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. In April 2018, Thompson was caught making out with another Instagram model, Lani Blair, in New York just days before Kardashian, 36, welcomed their daughter into the world. The basketballer and Blair were later photographed entering a hotel together in the wee hours of the morning and not leaving until later that day.
To add to the initial blow, TMZ then posted a video from the previous October that appeared to show Thompson kissing two other women at a hookah lounge. But despite his infidelity, Thompson was by the Good American founder’s side when she gave birth on April 12. “Regardless of what Tristan did to me, I was never going to take that moment away from True or Tristan,” Kardashian later shared. “She should not be punished for his actions. He is her father and they both deserve to love one another as deeply as they possibly can.”
While the pair attempted to work things out for the sake of their newborn daughter, it wasn’t long before Thompson’s eye wandered again. In early 2019, he was involved in a highly publicised cheating scandal with Kylie Jenner’s former best friend Jordyn Woods, 23, and Kardashian finally ended their three-year relationship.
However, during the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown in Los Angeles, the pair grew close again and were said to have reunited late last year. “For the past year, I have seen so much growth and so much change in Tristan, which I’m so grateful for,” Kardashian said on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “Right now, I’m giving the best that I can give and I’m trying. I feel like we’re in a good place and there is progression and there is some forward momentum.”
That momentum has likely stopped in its tracks after these latest cheating allegations. It’s also likely put their rumoured engagement – Kardashian was spotted wearing a huge diamond on her ring finger in early April – and plans of a second baby together, which the couple talked about on a recent episode of KUWTK, on the backburner. “I can’t see myself ever being able to trust him,” Kardashian previously admitted.
