Last class I took

Right when the pandemic hit, my wife [Martel Thompson] and I and our 15-year-old daughter [Loy] did these dance fitness classes. It would fully embarrass my daughter, but the three of us just went crazy. Then we had to stop – to save her the shame.

When I was growing up, The Carol Burnett Show was my comic bible. I met Tim Conway at this event, and every word and feeling left my body. He was an icon to me.

Last date night

My wife and I went up to Santa Barbara to a hotel and out to dinner, and it was really nice. It’s amazing how just getting away, all the anxiety falls away.

Last time I faced a fear

I have a pretty significant fear of heights. My daughter and I did this ropes course, and she was flying all over the place and I thought I was going to die. I hugged every tree and made an ass of myself.

Last time I was recognised

My dogs recognise me every day when I come home. Fans who come up to me will typically talk about Arrested Development, which I love because I don’t remember much. I’m always like, “I have no idea what you’re talking about, but that’s hilarious!”
