THE SINGER’S RD BIRTHDAY BASH WAS QUITE THE ELABORATE EVENT, AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM THE MATERIAL GIRL

As the Queen of Pop, Madonna’s birthday festivities were never going to be a simple affair. The 63-year-old absconded to Puglia, Italy, for her annual blowout on August 16, flying her family and close friends to celebrate alongside her. “Let the Birthday Games Begin,” the singer captioned a shot of herself in her elaborate birthday get-up kicking things off on social media. In the ensuing posts were a series of photos and videos from the party, which Madonna dubbed her “6th century eXtravaganza”.

The Byzantine Empire-themed bash also saw an appearance from all six of the star’s children – Lourdes, 24, Rocco,

21, David, 15, Mercy, 15, and 9-year-old twins Estere and Stelle – who are rarely seen all together. “Under the spell of the Byzantine Empire,” Madonna wrote alongside a snap of herself with her kids, who gave their mum a run for her money in the fashion department.

Also joining the star was boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams, 27, and bestie Debi Mazar, 57, who were decidedly on-theme as well. “Oh what a wonderful evening !!!! ” the Younger actress commented on one of Madonna’s snaps from the night.

Fans of the star are also in for a treat, with Madonna’s birthday festivities aligning with her announcement that she has collaborated with Warner Music Group – the company is now responsible for her entire recorded music catalogue. “Since the very beginning, Warner Music Group has helped bring my music and vision to all my fans around the world,” the singer said in a press release about the partnership. “I am delighted to be embarking on this next chapter with them to celebrate my catalogue from the past 40 years.”

The youthful singer looked stunning in snaps from the birthday extravaganza.

“I tried to powder her, but she just keeps on shining!” Mazar said of her long-time bestie.

Madonna shared a moment with her two eldest children on the night.

Things got a bit raunchy between Madonna and toy boy Williams, as they indulged in a gelato together. During the night, Madonna wore an elaborate crystal mask custom-made by the master of fantasy tiaras, Rinaldy Yunardi.

After an Italian feast, the singer gathered her children for a family snap.

Though she doesn’t share too much of her personal life on her own socials, Lourdes was happy posing for some photos for her mum.

David, who the star adopted from Malawi with ex-hubby Guy Ritchie, has become quite the fashion lover.
