STARS STEP OUT IN VENICE FOR THE DOLCE GABBANA FASHION SHOW

The annual Venice Film Festival may have only just kicked off, but A-listers got a head start on the glitz and glamour as they attended Dolce & Gabbana’s fashion show in the Italian city on August 28. Taking to the Venetian canals, guests arrived at the event by gondola, where they were greeted to a spectacular display – the famed St Mark’s Square hosting a fashion

show for the very first time. It was a very eclectic group of celebs, with designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana inviting the likes of music moguls Sean Combs and Ciara to rub shoulders with Hollywood heavyweights Christian Bale and Dame Helen Mirren and fashion royalty Monica Bellucci and Lady Kitty Spencer.

The show featured a sextet of celebrity offspring – made up of rapper Combs’ three daughters Chance, Jessie James and D’Lila Star, Bellucci’s daughter Deva Cassel, Bale’s daughter Emmeline and model Heidi Klum’s daughter Leni – who all took to the runway. “Everyone thinks couture is for the old, but that’s not how it has to be,” the designers said.

While there were plenty of stunning outfits and sweet displays – we’re looking at you Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego! – it was Jennifer Lopez who blew it out of the water. The 52-year-old singer rocked a regal, floral-print ensemble from the designers, complete with a matching cape and embellished headpiece.

“That runway show glow,” she shared alongside a video of her outfit on Instagram. Consider this show stolen!

“Ciao Venice,” the singer captioned this regal look, which fans were quick to fawn over on Instagram. “A fairytale weekend in Venice,” Hudson shared on Instagram after the event. Kris Jenner posed with singers Megan Thee Stallion, Bebe Rexha and Normani after the show.

There was plenty of amore between Saldana and her husband as they made their way to the event. Mirren looked absolutely resplendent in an embellished gold and printed gown from the designers’ collection. TAKE THE STAGE While there were plenty of singers sitting amongst the fashionable crowd, it was Respect star Jennifer Hudson (far left) who provided the entertainment with a breathtaking performance of Puccini classic ‘Nessun Dorma’. Brava! Doja Cat looked elegant in this floral masterpiece, while Kourtney Kardashian went for a barely there look while posing with beau Travis Barker.

January Jones was clearly feeling rosy in her perfectly pink gown with a matching lip.
