SIX MONTHS AFTER THEIR SPLIT, KIM KARDASHIAN AND KANYE WEST ARE SENDING STRONG SIGNALS THEY’RE READY TO REKINDLE

Despite splitting up in February after six years of marriage, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West still have one thing in common – a knack for grabbing attention. At the third listening party for West’s highly anticipated 10th studio album Donda, Kardashian closed out the show – gliding across the stage in a Balenciaga haute couture bridal gown, complete with an ivory silk train and face-covering veil. Traditional wedding music filled Chicago’s Soldier Field stadium as she made her way towards her smiling ex.

The jaw-dropping moment sent fans into a frenzy and sparked rumours the estranged couple could be cooling on the idea of going their separate ways. A source close to the pair, who were also spied hugging at the event, has told TMZ that Kardashian is considering withdrawing her divorce petition while they work towards “rebuilding the foundation of their relationship”. A second source told Hollywood Life that the former couple are “putting on a united front and are committed to trying to stay together,” adding, “They’re taking it day by day.” Some have argued that the main takeaway from the faux nuptials is more symbolic. “It’s not at all about them getting back together,” a source tells WHO’s sister publication People magazine. “It’s really just kind of this more holistic sense of love as a healing force.”

Still, her cooperation speaks volumes. “Kanye asked Kim to be part of his performance art finale, and she was happy to help him achieve his creative vision and will always support him as an artist,” another source told Page Six.

According to reports, tensions were high after Kardashian first filed to end their marriage, but the pair recently reconnected. They were spotted at a San Francisco museum with their kids North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, and enjoyed a solo lunch together in Malibu on August 19.

Kardashian has also attended West’s previous Donda shows in Atlanta, Georgia, bringing along their kids and dressing to coordinate with her ex. During the shows, West referred to their potential reconciliation in several songs. “Time and space is a luxury/But you came here to show that you’re still in love with me,” he rapped in the track ‘Lord I Need You’.

While the lyrics might be wishful thinking at this point, Kardashian opened up about West changing her for the better during the August 11 episode of the We Are Supported By podcast. “Being in a relationship with Kanye for a decade, someone that absolutely didn’t care about likeability factor or what any perception of him was as long as he was true to himself,” she said fondly. “That taught me so much in the best way of just being me and living in the moment.” As for what the future holds, time will tell.

“Kim wants a good relationship with him for the sake of their children,” the Page Six insider explains. “Marriages are complicated, especially ones including four young children,” explains a source.

“Kanye has been telling other rappers that he and Kim are back together, but everybody knows that isn’t true,” an insider told Page Six. “Kim and Kanye have a genuine love for one another and deep history together,” the source added.
