THE BH STAR HAS SHOCKED FANS WITH HER BRAND NEW LOOK
Tori Spelling is no stranger to surgery. “The one thing for me that has stuck forever is the plastic surgery thing,” the 48-year-old told WHO’s sister publication People magazine back in 2017 of persistent rumours that she’s had work done. And while she happily owns up to having her “nose done and my boobs done”, the actress has always insisted “that’s it” as far as the nips and tucks are concerned.
But after stepping out on September 2 with a new look, even fans could tell Spelling had upped the ante. The mum-of-five had many doing a double-take while dressed in a denim jumpsuit, with her taut visage and youthful appearance screaming surgery to many.
“She definitely did her nose again, 100 per cent,” celebrity plastic surgeon Dr Ramtin Kassir told Page Six after Tori 2.0 was debuted, adding that a facelift wasn’t out of the equation either. “When looking at her before picture, you don’t see her nice, defined lines that you see with her now. She’s probably working out and in great shape, too, so that all helps, but she’s definitely had some things done to her face.”
Dr Howard Sobel, a New York cosmetic dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon, agreed that Spelling had made a few tweaks to her face – but put the changes down to injectables instead. “A filler was probably done in her cheeks, jawline and chin as well, giving her more definition,” he also told Page Six, adding that the TV star likely got botox injections in the “11s” on her forehead to help lift her eyebrows.
Both surgeons did agree that Spelling’s lips had been plumped, with Sobel sharing the star likely “had filler to give them more definition and to make them look more pouty”.
After heading out with pal Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi on the night of her big reveal, Kassir – who has treated the Jersey Shore star – admitted that “[Spelling] looks the same age” as the 33-year-old. “She looks good, and quite frankly, she looks better than when she was 33 herself,” he added.
With laser resurfacing also being a likely addition to her bill, insiders say it’s possible that Spelling has spent upwards of $140,000 on this set of surgery alone!
It’s a lot of money for someone who reportedly had debt collectors chasing her back in June over an unpaid credit card bill – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!
Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott, 54, were ordered to pay back $118,864 to American Express Bank in October 2016 because of another unpaid credit card bill. And in another lawsuit, City National Bank sued the couple for failing to service their $543,000 loan.
Although the star had a bit of a windfall with the BH90210 reboot in 2019, which earned her $115,000 an episode, she’s been back to spruiking products on Instagram since it was cancelled after just one season.
The couple’s financial troubles are also said to have put a strain on their 15-year marriage, with Spelling often spotted out without her wedding ring in recent times.
For the star though, it seems her new look was worth the money. After fans flooded the comment section of her Instagram page to point out the similarities to Khloé Kardashian – some 11 years her junior – she was happy to take it as high praise. “I’m honoured to get that compliment,” she told TMZ.
