Last time I danced

The other week I went out with my nephew, and we actually danced in a club. It was strange. I was sweaty; it felt like I went to the gym. I’ve got to be coaxed onto the dance floor, but a beautiful smile will get me out there.

Last injury

I just had arthroscopic shoulder surgery a few weeks ago. I had arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, I had all the -itises. I’m doing good; I’m healing. Thankfully I’m not doing an action film next.

Last time I faced a fear

Probably going to my mum’s grave. I always thought she was eternal, and she’d always be there. But I make it a point now to go visit her, because that’s what she’d want me to do.

Last time I was starstruck

I met Janet Jackson backstage at one of her concerts, and I literally couldn’t say anything. I was maybe 15. You’ve got to understand that was Penny from [US sitcom] Good Times! She was everything.

Last DIY project

I put together a grill, and it was all backward. I did look at the instructions, but then I was all, “That looks like it goes there.” I don’t know if I built a grill or a dishwasher.
