KELLY CLARKSON CUSTOM CREATION
THE SINGER OFFLOADS THIS BARN STYLE HOME
It’s in with the new and out with the old for Kelly Clarkson! Just months after purchasing a new home in Los Angeles back in June, the singer, 39, has finally sold the custom-designed farmhouse she built with ex Brandon Blackstock, 44. The eight-bedroom pad in Encino, California, was bought by the pair back in 2018, but after filing for divorce last year, it’s time to say goodbye.
Featuring unique wood panels on the exterior, the home has a barn-like feel to it. But inside the pad it’s anything but, with luxe finishes and interiors making the mansion fit for a celebrity. Open-plan living allows those preparing food in the huge kitchen to chat with others in the casual dining and adjoining living areas. And the
formal sitting area is only a few steps – and a sliding barn door – away as well.
More relaxing can be done in the sunroom. Or if you’re wanting to entertain there is a separate dining room, which shares a glass wall with a temperaturecontrolled wine room. Plus, there’s plenty of other entertainment options, with a home theatre, games room and fitness centre also featuring in the stunning abode.
Meanwhile outside, a large pool, hot tub and barbecue and lounge area also provides another entertaining space. Plus, guests won’t have to worry about booking a hotel – with a two-storey guesthouse also sitting on the property, boasting two bedrooms and a full-sized kitchen. •
