Perth-based youth worker Blurton first found fame on Nick “The Honey Badger” Cummins’ season of The Bachelor in 2018. Their instant chemistry made Blurton a fan favourite, but she shocked everyone, including Cummins, when she walked out of one of the final rose ceremonies, eliminating herself from contention. At the time, she said she needed to know if Cummins genuinely liked her, for her to stay in the show, an answer he was unable to give because there were still two other contenders in the running.
In the end he famously chose no-one. In 2019, Blurton appeared on Bachelor in Paradise and fell for Alex Nation (who won Richie Strahan’s final rose on The Bachelor in 2016), but Nation broke things off with Blurton after falling for islander Bill Goldsmith instead.
