When it came to dressing for the prestigious green carpet at the Earthshot Awards, guests were asked to choose their outfits “with sustainability in mind”. And Kate led the way, looking resplendent in a gown that was more than a decade old.

For the event, Kate re-wore a shimmering lilac Alexander McQueen dress that she was first seen in at the BAFTA Brits to Watch event in LA in 2011. The recycled frock was a smash hit. “Kate stealing the show – again,” one social media user commented.
