Chastain spent more than four hours a day in the makeup chair to channel Tammy Faye. “Every moment, I had something on my face,” she says. But the star wants people to focus on more than looks. “In society, we spend so much time on how a woman presents herself and not what a woman is saying or accomplishing,” says Chastain. “I was blown away by Tammy Faye and her story.
