The reality star and founder of Angel Energy and Co talks self-love, going makeup free and curly hair essentials

What does beauty mean to you? It means feeling comfortable in my own skin and loving myself wholeheartedly. We all have the power to define our own perception of beauty.

Who do you look to for inspiration? Jennifer Aniston because she keeps it natural and simple just like me. I also admire Kendall Jenner – even with thousands of cameras on her 24/7 she still embraces her natural skin and features. She doesn’t try to change how she looks to keep up with trends, instead she embraces the beauty she already has.

Talk us through your daytime routine …

It consists of a cold shower every morning to wake up my skin. I then do a morning cleanse using my Bangn Body cleanser and follow that up with their firming lotion to my face and then entire body. This routine leaves my skin hydrated throughout the day and I’ll rarely wear any makeup. What’s your best beauty tip?

To go makeup free as often as possible. It allows your skin to recalibrate and breathe. I also feel liberated knowing I’m embracing myself exactly as I am. What do you love treating yourself to? LED sauna light treatments. Not only is it amazing for my skin, but it’s also a great time for me to meditate.

Describe your everyday makeup look?

On an average day I don’t wear any foundation, but I always apply a layer of SPF and a small amount of mascara.

If you could only have five products in your makeup bag, what would they be? Bangn Body Firming Lotion because it hydrates, reduces redness, primes and can highlight. Then L’Oreal Lash Paris Mascara Intense Black, Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Face Primer, Fenty Beauty Bright Fix Undereye Brightener, and finally Set Soap brow gel (setsoap.com) to keep my brows brushed up.

Essential hair tips?

Having such curly hair, it’s important I don’t overuse heat styling tools otherwise my curls suffer. I use Natalie Anne hair products to keep my curls healthy.
