THE WINNER OF THE VOICE ISN’T WAITING FOR CHANCES HER CAREER IS ALREADY ON SONG!

Taking the crown on this year’s season of The Voice

– not to mention the $100,000 prize money – was just the beginning of a very exciting new chapter for Bella Taylor Smith. The 23-year-old singing teacher, who had previously only sung in church until she found herself on Guy Sebastian’s team, has already released her rst album of tracks performed on the show and is currently promoting her original new single ‘Higher’.

“I heard it on the radio for the rst time today,” she tells WHO. “That was such a surreal moment.” She’s also busy rehearsing to tour with her Voice coach and mentor, after he invited her to join him on his T.R.U.T.H. tour in April and May next year.

“I am beyond excited about that and I’ll de nitely be performing on stage with Guy, as well as supporting him,” she says.

Sebastian has nurtured Taylor Smith as an artist from the moment he rst heard her sing ‘Ave Maria’ during the blind auditions of the show. “My faith is very important to me,” says Taylor Smith, who’s part of a Hillsong congregation. “But Guy encouraged me to be myself and continue to share songs of hope, love and positivity, no matter what the audience is or who I’m playing to. He made me feel like it’s ne to be me.“

Taylor Smith has already signed on to perform at this year’s Carols in the Domain concert in Sydney before Christmas. “I can’t tell you what I’ll be singing, but ‘O Holy Night’ is my favourite carol,” she says. Being part of that show is a dream come true for Taylor Smith. “Everything that’s happened since

I won The Voice is unbelievable, “she adds. “I’m still pinching myself.”
