Angelina PLAYING THE FIELD
Having taken quite the sabbatical after her split from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie is jumping back into the dating world. “Angelina is having so much fun right now, and she’s making up for lost time,” an insider recently told Us Weekly of the Oscar winner. “There’s no pressure or expectation at this point, just a lot of fun, and Angelina’s really enjoying it. Her friends haven’t seen her this up and energised in forever.”
While she was declared legally single back in April 2019, Jolie said she didn’t have time for romance. “She wasn’t interested in dating anyone for years after the divorce because she was so busy being a mum and staying on top of her career,” the source continued.
However, with the kids growing up before her eyes and her acting career back in full swing, it seems the star has been indulging in a little time for herself. Back in June, the actress was spotted visiting her ex-husband
Jonny Lee Miller, 48, at his New York City apartment on two occasions. She was also spotted enjoying dinner with the actor in Los Angeles on October 11, with the pair jumping in a car together after their night out.
Meanwhile, Jolie has also been spending time with singer The Weeknd. “Both Angie and Abel are telling people that they are just friends, but those who know them think something romantic is going on,” another source told Us Weekly of Jolie and the 31-year-old. “She’s definitely warming toward Abel. He’s been pouring on the charm and going out of his way to impress her.”
With no doubt plenty of other offers on the table, insiders say Jolie is just happy to be back on the market. “She never put a time stamp or formal expectation on when that would change,” the first source added. “It had to be organic, and that’s exactly what ended up happening.”
