As Kevin’s love interest, McKellar, 46, was the ultimate teen crush. The mum to son Draco, 11, competed on (US) Dancing With the Stars in 2014, and she’s also a mathematician, author and Hallmark Channel regular.

JASON HERVEY WAYNE ARNOLD

Hervey, 49, who co-starred as Kevin’s pugnacious older brother, stepped away from acting in 2004 and worked a stint in public relations. He has two children.

Since playing Kevin’s free-spirited sister, the British d’Abo, 52, a mum-of-one who was once engaged to Julian Lennon, has become a successful voice actor.

DAN LAURIA JACK ARNOLD

The 74-year-old, who appeared as the gruff, straitlaced Arnold patriarch, is still acting and had a role opposite Ben Affleck in the 2020 movie The Way Back.

In playing Kevin’s best friend, Saviano, 45, formed a lifelong bond with Savage (“I talk to Josh a lot,” says Savage), though The Wonder Years remains the Yale grad’s only major acting role. He is currently a lawyer in New York.

Mills, 70, who played Kevin’s mum, a housewife-turned-college student, starred on The Bold and the Beautiful
