The beloved coming-of-age series about the poems and social life of Emily Dickinson is returning for its third and nal season. With the American Civil War raging on and her family locked in a erce feud, Emily (Hailee Steinfeld) changes her whole approach to writing as she contemplates how to use it to make a di erence in the 19th century. “This is a very dark time. The violence. The su ering – that’s what I want to heal with my poetry,” the poet says in the season promo. Returning alongside Steinfeld are Dickinson regulars Ella Hunt, Toby Huss, Adrian Blake Enscoe, Anna Baryshnikov and Jane Krakowski. (Premieres Fri., Nov. 5 on Apple TV Plus)
