THE HOT NEW COUPLE MAKE THEIR ROMANCE RED CARPET OFFICIAL AT A GALA EVENT

-

They made their debut as a couple on April 28 while on a PDA-filled, romantic stroll through New York’s Central Park. But nothing says “it’s official” like a red carpet debut, and for Katie Holmes and her new boyfriend, Bobby Wooten III, they chose The Moth Ball 25th Anniversary Gala on May 26.

And wow, did the 43-year-old Dawson’s

Creek actress and her Grammy-nominated beau, 33, look all kinds of happy. From the red carpet where they cuddled up for the cameras, to the deck for pre-drinks where they only had eyes for each other, and of course, their table, where the smitten pair kept close and appeared completely entranced by each other’s company, it’s hard to believe she was ever married to actor Tom Cruise, or dated Jamie Foxx under a veil of secrecy for years.

It’s safe to say this time around, Holmes’ boyfriend is proud to show her off. “I’m happy to have [Katie] here as my date,” the Broadway musician told US Weekly at the event, with the actress by his side.

Last month a friend told E! News the duo were set up by mutual friends. “They know some of the same people who connected them and so far, it’s working well,” the source explained. “Katie is excited about seeing someone and is very happy. It’s new, but it’s going well. She enjoys having someone in her life, and he is very kind and good to her.”

May marked a year since her split from restaurateur, Emilio Vitolo Jr, but it appears the 33-year-old is way back in Holmes’ rear vision mirror. “She’s looking forward to spending time more time with Bobby and seeing where it goes,” the source added.

?? ?? Cheers to that! Holmes and Wooten couldn’t keep the smiles off their faces at the gala, which honoured former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne (left with the couple).
