WHO sat down with Abbie to chat all things lingerie, her low-key style and loving the skin you’re in
We love your collab with Souszy – how did this come to be? I had tried Souszy’s undies for a while and loved them. We wanted to create a comfortable and cute set that had support for bigger busts while still being delicate. As an advocate for self-love, how do you love the skin you’re in?
I feel like that title has kind of been thrust upon me by other people. I think I just exist in my body, knowing that any time my insecurities come up, it’s simply a waste of my time and energy. I love that people feel that I make them confident, but I don’t see myself as particularly confident. I think I’m more apathetic!
When do you feel your sexiest? Honestly, probably on photoshoots or on set! I don’t think of myself as a particularly sexy person otherwise. What advice would you pass on to women when it comes to loving the skin they’re in?
Unfollow people who make you feel less about yourself, who edit their photos and use face-changing filters. That’s step one.
If you could only have one item in your lingerie drawer, what would it be?
A cute, comfortable bralette, not unlike my Souszy x Abbie bralette!
What’s your relationship with fashion? Are you a fashionista or more low-key?
I’m somewhere in between, I would say. I get styled for most photoshoots, so there is definitely “magazine and TV Abbie”, who is in tight, bright colours with heels and full hair and makeup. There is also “real life Abbie”, who is usually in all black and sneakers. I tend to re-wear the same pieces over and over in my real life.
What’s one thing in your wardrobe you feel you most confident in?
I have this black pin-striped blazer that I wear a lot. It’s perfect to chuck on over any outfit to make it effortlessly cool. What does the perfect date night look like for you?
Fish and chips on the beach with beers!
