Save on an external or network attached drive

Windows Help & Advice - - EXPLORE BACK UP YOUR PC -

While you can save your backup to a drive in your PC, it’s recommended you save your backup to an external drive. That means if something happens to your PC, the backup is safe. Make sure you have a large enough drive, plug it in and select that. You can also save your backup to a network location (such as a NAS). To do this, select ‘Save on a network’ then enter in the location.
