Ellen & Portia: IS THIS THE END?

Ellllen Degeneres spoke eendlessly of her wife Portia de Rrossi’s support at the premiere of heher new film Finding Dory. “She kepkept saying to me, ‘ Take this all in. This is really your day and itit’s incredible’,” Ellen said of Portia’s kind words. But weeks after putting on a united front at the event, insiders say Portia, 43, has finally had enough. According to those close to the couple, the former Ally Mcbeal star is ready to walk, leaving Ellen with no choice but to prepare for a bitter divorce battle.

Friends say Ellen, 58, and Portia have been fighting constantly lately. “Ellen and Portia have always had a contentious relationship behind the scenes,” one friend reveals. “Portia is fed up with Ellen’s nonstop work schedule, her controlling behaviour and her constant flirting with younger women. The story is they had a blowout fight and Portia told Ellen she wants a divorce.”

Rumours are also rife that Portia could have fallen for

someone else: a man. “She was married to a man before so it wouldn’t be totally out of the blue,” another insider says.

If Portia proceeds with the divorce, things could turn ugly. The couple reportedly don’t have a prenup, and as Portia’s $27 million net worth is substantially less than Ellen’s astounding $440 million wealth, she stands to walk away with a large chunk of the talk show host’s money. But in Portia’s eyes, the settlement may be well-earned. “She feels she supports Ellen in everything she does, while Ellen just gets aggravated and judgemental when it comes to Portia’s needs,” the insider explains.
