The couple silence divorce rumours on a family outing

They’ve spent weeks apart, fuelling rumours a divorce announcement is imminent. But in a show of solidarity, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted playing happy families in Los Angeles last week.

Joined by three of their six children – Shiloh, 10, and seven-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox – Brad and Ange looked like any other blissfully married couple as they left high-end supermarket Gelson’s with a trolley-load of groceries. It’s believed the couple, who wed in 2014 after 10 years together, were stocking up on food and drinks for their Fourth of July celebrations.

The family outing comes one week after Brad posed with a bevy of scantily clad blondes at the Born-free Vintage Chopper and Classic Cycle Show in southern California. Even though Brad is a known revhead, being seen with other women is decidedly out of character for him, leading fans to speculate that he’s in the midst of a midlife crisis. Others have even come to the conclusion the 52-year-old was rebelling against Ange’s possessiveness.

“He’s fed up with her controlling ways … and now her outright jealousy when it comes to other women,” says a source.

While some believe the outing could be a publicity stunt to dispel divorce rumours, there’s no denying the couple appeared happy and relaxed as they packed their Tesla with groceries. And Ange, 41, who returned to Los Angeles last week after spending time with Knox and the couple’s eldest, Maddox, 14, in New York, says family life with the kids brings her and Brad great joy.

“They’re six of the funniest people we have ever met,” Ange says. “We love being home and we love being around them because they are just so entertaining.”
