The happy couple are thrilled to be expanding their family once more

They’ve already got their hands full with adorable daughter India, four, and two-yearold twins Tristan and Sasha.

But it seems that life may be about to get even more hectic for handsome Aussie star Chris Hemsworth and his actress wife Elsa Pataky, with friends revealing that the happy couple are planning to add to their brood once more.

Growing family

“It was always the plan to have another baby this year,” a friend tells Woman’s Day exclusively.

For now Chris, 32, and Elsa are keeping mum on their exciting news, but sources say they’ve already started redecorating the nursery at their eight-bedroom home in Byron Bay.

And they’re certainly bracing themselves for the chaos that having a big family of children under five will bring.

“They’ve been laughing about having so many young kids, but really, they love it,” the insider continues. “It’s going to be one very noisy household!”

For Thor heartthrob Chris, adding to the family again is a dream come true.

Despite his successful career in Hollywood Chris is very much a family man, who talks fondly of his memories of growing up alongside his actor brothers Liam, 26, and Luke, 35.

“I’ve always loved my work, but being a good father and husband is my absolute priority right now,” Chris exclusively tells Woman’s Day.

“The best thing that has ever happened to me in my life has been meeting Elsa, and being able to raise our children.”

But Chris is very aware that having more kids will be hard work, admitting that raising his children has been his biggest challenge so far.

“It’s much more difficult than you think it’s going to be,” he says. “You have to change your thinking and be completely there for them. But having kids has also taught me what real love is and what true responsibility means.”

Chris is the new face of Tourism Australia, and he, Elsa and their kids recently visited some of the country’s most iconic locations, including Uluru and Katherine Gorge, as part of a travel campaign.

Sharing precious photographs of their adventures on their Instagram accounts, the couple looked too be having the time of their lives on the trip – and very much in love.

Babymoon break

Friends say the trip doubled as a babymoon. “There couldn’t be a more loved-up couple on earth,” our insider says.

Having recently put their five-bedroom Malibu home on the market, it’s clear Chris and Elsa intend to spend more time Down Under. They relocated to Byron Bay in 2014.

Chris has always been clear that he wants his children to experience Australia’s natural beauty – just like he and his brothers did growing up.

Now that they’ve settled in, and with Elsa turning 40 in the coming weeks, it’s the right time to complete their family.

“They decided late last year that it was going to be their big project for 2016,” another friend tells.

“I guess you could say it’s their little gift to themselves for moving back to Australia. They couldn’t be happier – all their dreams are coming true.”
