There’s no question about it, Georgia Love is glowing! And while it might be down to the fact that our Bachelorette is looking for love, the bubbly brunette is also the picture of health.

“I’m naturally active,” she says. “I’ve always done dancing and trapeze, so I’ve done a lot of things as hobbies that have kept me active.”

The 27-year-old TV news journalist maintains that fun fitness activities are her key to stayingyg in shape.p

“I work out about five times a week, but I’m a big advocate of finding things you enjoy doing in your life to get fit, rather than having to wake up and go to the gym every day,” she says.

Her attitude to exercise is a breath of fresh air and it seems she’s realistic when it comes to her diet, too. She confesses that while she tries to eat healthily most of the time, she’s just like the rest of us and loves the occasional blowout.

“I’m definitely a foodie, but it’s all about balance,” she says. “I love a burger and chips as much as the next person, it’s just about not having that every day.”

Sweet or savoury?

When she does indulge, it’s unlikely to be with a block of chocolate. “I’m a savoury person, so my treat is a big bowl of pasta. That’s definitely my guilty pleasure!”

But with all that indulgent food on offer on her Bachelorette dates, how is she managing to maintain her gorgeous figure while filming? “What’s funny is how many people have commented on the fact that the cheese platters always go untouched,” she laughs.

“But as soon as the cameras stop rolling, everyone – me, the boys and all the crew get stuck in straight away! I’m the kind of person who will eat what I want to eat and enjoy the moment, then I’ll just squeeze in a run the next morning or do a bit more work in the gym.”

And while it seems there’s bubbly around every corner, Georgia admits she hardly drinks while filming the cocktail parties.

“I’m always talking and listening to these guys so it’s kind of rude to sit there guzzling on your champagne,” she says.

“I constantly have a warm glass in my hand! But it’s nice to have it there as a safety blanket in case the conversation gets awkward!”
