Sources say the Ray Donovan co-stars have taken their on-set flirting further

They’ve been at pains to prove their break-up was amicable, posting photos of one another and sending birthday wishes on social media. But sources close to Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber, who ended their 11-year relationship last month and have two sons together, claim actress Katie Holmes is at the centre of the split.

It’s believed sparks began to fly between Katie, 37, and Liev, 49, when they starred alongside one another in the last season of Liev’s hit show Ray Donovan Donovan. “Naomi couldn’t get past the fact Liev was always dallying with the hot women who were his co-stars,” an insider reveals.

“It drove her up the wall. The worst was Katie Holmes. When she was on Ray Donovan last season, Liev loved it!”

Sparks ignite

It’s easy to understand why Katie and Liev’s steaming on-set romance may have irked Naomi, but the pair also appeared to be getting close in-between takes, hanging out and sharing a laugh together when the cameras stopped rolling.

“Liev told Naomi time and again she was being ridiculous and there was nothing going on,” the insider adds adds. “But“B she was never sure. Liev really wanted Katie back for season four, but she was already committed to star in television miniseries The Kennedys After Camelot.”

Katie famously split from ex-husband, Scientologist Tom Cruise in 2012, with whom she shares daughter Suri, 10. While she was rumoured to be dating actor Jamie Foxx, the romance has never been confirmed.
