MIDDLE TEMPLE GARDENS

-

These immaculately manicured gardens are set right in the middle of London’s legal centre, near the Royal Courts of Justice and overlooking the Thames. Unsurprisingly, it’s not just the area’s lawyers and barristers who choose to wander the flower-lined footpaths: the gardens have also grown popular with tourists looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Perfect in springtime, when the gorgeous pink magnolia trees are in bloom. TIP Don’t forget to stop by Fountain Court for a photo – it’s home to what’s believed to be the oldest fountain in London, and was a favourite location of literary greats including Charles Dickens. NEAREST TUBE STATION Temple.
