Brooke Warne She’s just like her dad Shane

Shane & Simone fighting over Brooke Warnie’s eldest is turning out to be a chip off the old block

Raising a glass at the Portsea Polo, Shane Warne beamed with pride as he posed alongside his 19-year-old daughter Brooke.

“The clear winner for best on ground/mvp [most valuable player] at the Portsea Polo was my daughter @brookewarne Always having a great time hahaha,” bragged the 47–year-old former cricketer on Instagram.

But behind the smiles tension is brewing, with reports Shane and his ex Simone Callahan are at loggerheads over Brooke’s love of partying – and Shane’s encouragement of it.

“Brooke is a wild girl. She’s just like her dad – she loves to party, drink and have a good time,” spills a close family friend, adding while Brooke is simply enjoying life, there are fears she could be jeopardising her future.

“She loves all the perks that come with being Shane Warne’s daughter. She can drink all her mates under the table and she’s usually the last one standing.

“When her dad threw a barbecue for Coldplay the other week, she was beside herself. She hit the phones to tell all her school friends and invite them over,” the friend reveals.

“She thinks nothing of turning up at her dad’s house to find AFL players in the poker room or a stream of glamorous blondes in the living room. She’s only a teen, but she’s already been exposed to the party lifestyle of an A-lister.”

But while Shane is happy to encourage his daughter’s carefree lifestyle, her mum Simone, 46, can’t help feeling concerned.

“Ever since she and Shane split, Sim has always tried to give their kids a normal upbringing away from the spotlight – but that’s obviously difficult, given Shane’s reputation,” explains the friend, adding that she’s endured her own fair share of humiliation thanks to her ex’s wild side.

“Sim knows exactly what goes on at Shane’s parties. He has his celebrity friends over and she fears it’s going to Brooke’s head. She knows Brooke can’t get enough of the stars at Dad’s.

“Sim doesn’t want Brooke getting involved in any of it. She wants her to focus on going to uni or trying to get a proper job, but it’s clear that’s the last thing on her mind right now.”

To make matters worse, friends say ladies’ man Shane couldn’t be more proud of his little girl, and actively encourages her to get out

and have fun. “He’ll happily give Brooke a few hundred dollars and tell her to take her friends to Crown casino, where they’re treated like VIPS,” reveals our source. “Sometimes he’ll even go with them!”

In fact, fun-loving Brooke loves nothing more than when her dad joins her for a party.

At her 18th birthday last year, Shane was seen doing Fireball shots with her and her friends.

“I love it! So good, knocks your socks off. It was Brooke’s 18th and she’s like her dad. We can drink,” Shane boasted at the time.

When Brooke broke her phone in another escapade last month, the king of spin was quick to reassure her that Dad would sort things out: “Stunning Brookstar! All grown up. PS We will fix your phone tmrw!”

Meanwhile, doting dad Shane – who is also father to Jackson, 17, and Summer, 15 – prides himself on being close to his kids.

“I’m very lucky with my relationships with all three of my children,” says Shane. “We don’t have secrets from each other. No matter what the situation is, they tell me. They share any issues they have. That’s what we have in our household: straight up and honest, even in my situation.

“They’re fantastic kids, they are very respectful and I’m very proud of them,” he says.
