Duchess Kate’s baby bump

The duchess is delighted at the news – but Wills is worried it’s all too much

-

When the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in London last week, royal watchers couldn’t help noticing she looked a little worn out.

Now, after months of rumours Kate is expecting her third baby, palace insiders have confirmed to Woman’s Day the exciting news that Prince George and his sister Princess Charlotte are indeed expecting a sibling.

But while Kate is thrilled, her increasingly drawn appearance is a sign she’s experiencing morning sickness, after suffering from an extreme form of the condition during her previous pregnancies.

With the duchess thought to weigh only 44kg, insiders say Prince William is finding it hard to let any excitement take hold, because he’s very worried about his wife’s health.

“Kate has always wanted a large family, and now Charlotte is nearly two it’s the perfect time for the couple to have another little one,” a royal insider tells Woman’s Day exclusively.

“But she also suffers from just about the worst morning sickness going. She’s got no appetite and

sheh can hardlyh dl holdh ldd down any food, which is why she’s looking more slender than usual.

“During her other pregnancies Kate had to have hospital doctors on call, and friends fear it won’t be long before she’s in the same position this time around.”

Kate might be feeling under the weather, but sources say she’s delighted to expand her family. And she was sure to put on a brave face for the cameras last week,k with h royal al l insiders saying the duchess will l do everything shehe can to be positiveve and keep to her commitments.

“Kate has been dreading and looking forward to this moment in equal measure,” our source says. “Of course, she knows it’s all going to be worth it. She loves her children to bits – they, and William,, are her world.”

While palace insiders agree 35-year-old Kate has shed a few kilos since falling pregnant, they insist she’s doing all she can to stay healthy and is even starting to show a little around her belly.

Still, she isn’t ready to show her bump just yet. Eagle-eyed fansfan noted Kate had altered th the blue Eponine London co coat she wore earlier this m month to hide her waistline. Fa Fashion commentators say shesh removed the fifth button originallyor sewn into the coat,co so she could wear the beltbe above her waist and hidehi her stomach.

Kate, who has two siblings of her own, has always said sh she’d love to have three kids. W With George, three, starting sc school later this year, and 2 20-month-old Charlotte g growing up fast, it’s the ideal ti time to expand their brood. D Despite concerns about K Kate’s health, insiders say 3 34-year-old William is also d delighted at the news.

The timing couldn’t b be more perfect, with K Kate thought to be due i in August, when William a and Harry will mark the 2 20th anniversary of the d death of their mum P Princess Diana.

“A new baby born right w when he’s remembering his mother will be extra special for William,” our insider adds. “The next few months will be tough, but deep down, he and Kate know this is a real gift.”
