Karl’s other hot blonde!
Delta isn’t the only Aussie blonde Karl has struck up a flirtatious relationship with. The larrikin TV star has reportedly reached out to newly single model Ashley Hart, who last week announced she had separated from her husband Buck Palmer.
“Karl is heading over to LA for work next week, so he got in touch with Ash to see if she wants to meet up for a drink,” tells our source. “He’s always had a crush on her and he’d love to see her again.”
Karl and 28-year-old Ash became firm friends after he interviewed her and her sister Jess, 30, for 60 Minutes in 2015.
The pair even enjoyed a wild night out in New York after filming – something that upset Karl’s ex Cass at the time.
“Cass knew Karl fancied Ash and it really upset her he was so open about the drunken night out they had – it’s not the behaviour you would expect from a married man,” confirms a friend of Cass.
“Cass has even told friends she thinks Karl’s sudden interest in yoga could be inspired by Ash, who’s a keen yogi.”
As for Ash’s split with Buck, friends say her male friendships caused plenty of tension.
“Buck was always very jealous, and it worsened after they got married with bitter rows erupting over Ashley’s male friendships,” tells a close friend.
“Ashley is naturally flirtatious, which was often taken the wrong way by Buck who would even lash out at male pals commenting on her Instagram pictures or flip out when a male photographer took some sexy snaps of her. He couldn’t stand it.
“He adored Ash, but eventually his jealousy became too much and it was the root of all their arguments. It led to constant tension in their marriage, which was eventually what tore them apart.”
