JULIA MORRIS: YES, I HAVE ANGER ISSUES!
Comedy queen Julia Morris sought help for a breakdown after she found herself struggling to cope with life.
Julia, 48, admits she reached breaking point as she felt “overloaded” juggling husband Dan and their two daughters Ruby, 10, and Sophie, eight, on top of starring roles on House Husbands and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
“I always thought you had to be in real mental-health trouble to see a psychologist,” she recently revealed. “I often think about the catchphrase of people looking for the perfect work-life balance – and I’m telling you, it doesn’t exist.”
While she says laughter has always helped her through tough times, Julia also admits to embracing fury when she’s tired and fed up. “I go from happy to explosive,” she says.
But she overcame the dark patch by embracing cognitive behavioural therapy, saying it has changed the way she approaches life and gave Dan back his “happy wife”.
