Jen turns to an old Friend
Determined to take charge of her happiness, Jen called Matt and arranged to meet him for dinner. Her choice of venue sent a clear message – Sunset Tower Hotel was one of her and Justin’s favourite romantic spots. “She made sure Justin knew she was having a night out with Matt,” says the source. “He was speechless.” Weeks before Jen and Justin married in 2015, Matt’s father Paul Leblanc worked Friends fans into a frenzy by revealing his famous son and Jen had been more than just good mates while filming the hit sitcom.
“They would make out in the dressing rooms. He told me about it,” Paul claimed.
Indeed, the duo have stayed close since Friends wrapped filming in 2004, occasionally texting and seeing each other three or four times a year – something Justin has never been thrilled about.
“Justin can’t stand Matt, especially as he and Jen go back a long, long way,” another source adds.
“But Jen doesn’t care. Matt always puts a smile on her face and she is enjoying making Justin sweat.”
