Seal’s secret revealed DELTA’S THE ONE I ALWAYS TURN TO

-

The Voice is back, and we’re thrilled that this series sees the return of British singer Seal after a three-year break from his role in the coach’s chair. The star opens up about his close bond with fellow coach Delta Goodrem and his great love for Australia… How are the dynamics between the coaches that make up the new panel? It’s great. Coach Kelly [Rowland] has been in one of the biggest girl bands [in the world] and her experience is invaluable. And Boy George has longevity – he’s been through it all.

Do you tend to agree with one coach more than the others? I find myself agreeing a lot more with Delta. She doesn’t pull any punches, but it comes from a really good place. I love Delta as a person, but it’s beyond that. I have an incredible amount of respect for her and I know how hard she works. Are you still in touch with your season one winner, Karise Eden? When I speak to her, it’s great! But it’s Karise – she ignores me and then I’ll get a random message saying hello. It’s always going to be like that but that’s how it should be. I have relationships like that with people who’ve helped me in the past.

Have you had much time to travel around Australia? Not this time around, but I’ve been to Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Adelaide and Melbourne [before]. My favourite place is Perth, which surprises people because they think it’s quite boring. But it reminds me of where I grew up in the UK.

?? ?? Coaches Seal and Delta seem to just “get” each other.
