After spending two nights in intensive care battling a rare and “potentially deadly” infection he picked up in South America, it’s little wonder friends are asking Sir Elton John to take it easy. “Elton has a close-knit circle of friends who are genuinely worried about him,” a source explains. “Nobody wants him to burn himself out.” Thankfully, the singer is following doctor’s orders to rest and has cancelled a number of upcoming Las Vegas shows.
