Tensions boiled over when the finale was filmed, withfame-hungry Courtney accusing Amy of ruining her big chance once the cameras stopped rolling. There is speculation that cooking isn’t Courtney’s real passion, and that she is just using the show to become famous, reveals our on-set source. “The two of them clashed because Amy and a few other contestants reckon Courtney isn’t a good cook and was riding her mum’s coattails. Amy made it very clear she didn’t want Courtney and Val to win,” adds our insider. “There were a lot of snarky comments behind Courtney and Val’s backs but it blew up on the day we filmed the finale. “It’s always tricky because we film both teams ‘winning’ and keep the actual winner a secret until it airs. We filmed Valerie and Courtney second, andnd Courtney was so over the top with her reaction, it just seemed comical – and Amy couldn’t stop laughing at her. “It ruined the take and they had to do it all again! Courtney was shooting daggers at Amy afterwards, and she was s so furious she eventually confronted her and told her to ‘grow up’. It was incredibly awkward and they had to be separated for the rest of the day.”
