Australian actor Anthony Lapaglia was smiling from ear to ear as his much younger bride-to-be Alexandra Henkel showed off her new diamond engagement ringg at a glamorous Yves Saint Laurent beauty event in Melbourne.

Anthony, 58, fell for Alexandra, 28, in 2015 while filming A Month of Sundays in Adelaide, just three months after splitting from his second wife, Strictly Ballroom star Gia Carides. The pair were married for 17 years and share a 15-yearold daughter Bridget. Anthony was previously married to Cherie Michan.

The size of Alexandra’s engagement ring comes as no surprise – Anthony reportedly gifted her a Mercedes Benz for her 26th birthday not long after the pair began dating.
