Amanda De Warren speaks to Janelle’s dog, Jarrah

-

AMANDA SAYS Jarrah tells me she only passed over a couple of months ago. She was not old, about nine. She tells me she had a lot going on with her mobility and she could hardly walk by the end. Jarrah is so excited to talk to her mum. She also mentions her dad, Janelle’s husband, and the two girls, who she loves very much. She shows me she was nervous on occasion, but only around loud noises. She is such a sweet dog and loved by everyone. She tells me she still sleeps on Janelle’s bed and gives her kisses on her face every night, like she always did. Jarrah thanks Janelle for the photo session they did under the big tree in the backyard during the last week of her life, as she knew she did not have long to go. Jarrah says she is with Janelle’s dad, who then tells me he passed suddenly in an accident when he fell asleep at the wheel of his truck and hit a tree. Janelle was only seven when he passed over. I can tell he is a lovely man, and he brings through a family dog from many years ago. Janelle’s grandfather brings through a lot of cats. He has a great sense of humour and laughs a lot. JANELLE SAYS We had to have our beloved dog, Jarrah, put down. She hasn’t been gone long, so I was happy Amanda was able to connect with her. Amanda let me know she is at peace, and that she appreciates the photo ceremony we did in the backyard the Wednesday before she passed. I was surprised Amanda connected with my father, as he died when I was seven. I still miss Jarrah terribly, but it’s lovely knowing she’s happy now.
