Woman’s Day (Australia)

Comedy GOLD

She’s back! In her first film in 15 years, Oscar winner and comedy legend, Goldie Hawn, teams up with superstar and comedian of-the-moment Amy Schumer for a hilarious mother-daughter tale of a South American holiday gone wrong!

-

If you loved Firstwivesclub, Overboard and Thebangersisters, you are going to love every second of this film because this is Goldie back at her absolute best.

When Emily (Schumer) suddenly finds herself with a South American holiday for two and no boyfriend in sight, she decides to take her somewhat more conservative and super-cautious mother, Linda (Hawn), along for the ride.

It quickly descends into a hilarious (and relatable) mother-daughter clash – full of bickering and embarrassing mum moments– until their worst fear becomes a reality. They’re snatched. Kidnapped and trapped in the middle of South America, they’re forced to reconcile their differences and become the ultimate mother-daughter duo in order to escape. Truth be told, the joke’s on the bad guys as with Schumer and Hawn at the helm, they were never going to win!

With hilarious one-liners and unpredictable comedy at every turn – this is the perfect recipe for a fun Mother’s Day weekend! Treat yourself and get giggling as this blockbuster has it all.
