Sharday & Josh: We have a tough road ahead of us
Those still mourning the end of Married At First Sight, fear not – Channel Nine is back with another reality gem! With the guidance of relationship specialists Sandy Rea and Michael Myerscough, five Aussie couples head to a tropical paradise in a last-ditch bid to save their troubled partnerships – and the result is confronting, to say the least!
Separated parents to a two-year-old daughter, Sharday, 27, and Josh, 25, desperately want to repair their relationship for the sake of their little girl. But Josh is understandably finding it difficult to forgive Sharday who, after finding out she was pregnant soon after they split, lied to him by telling him the baby wasn’t his. It meant Josh sadly missed out on his daughter’s birth.
“I will struggle to forgive Sharday for that one, tiny little sentence. It carries so much hatred and pain. But we’re going to fight to overcome it,” he tells Woman’s Day.
The first episode also sees Sharday clash with fellow participant Lisa, 37, who is at the retreat with boyfriend Dan, 35. During the group’s first dinner, Lisa doesn’t hold back on how she feels about Sharday’s deception.
“She made a beeline for me. She asked some very intrusive questions and I felt judged,” Sharday tells us. Now, now, ladies!
