Met Gala top 6
The T stand-out frocksf –and trousers! – from fashion’s biggest night
Katie Holmes
Wearing a stunning jewel-toned Zac Posen gown, Katie looks every bit the Hollywood star. But for this event she could have got away with something more outrageous. Love the matching dark blue eyeshadow, though.
Claire Danes
Rocking an OTT outfit by Monse, Claire certainly took a risk. The talk of the night, this ruffled shirt has so much going on, slim-fit pants with no ankle detail would’ve been a more flattering match.
Blake Lively
Channelling mermaid chic, Blake wows in this Atelier Versace gown. The low neckline and shoulder pads draw attention to her flawless decolletage, before the eye is drawn down her hourglass figure to the trailling feathers. Points for matching earrings!
Kate Hudson
Kate’s rockingk an all-white colour theme with her Stella Mccartney dress and striking matching updo. We love the billowing one-shoulder sleeve, but something more risque would’ve been fun, too.
Rose Byrne
The Aussie actress looks ravishing in red Ralph Lauren. The daring plunging neckline and cut-out waist balances perfectly with the heavy tulle skirt. Gorgeous!
Halle Berry
This Atelier Versace jumpsuit is a clever two-in-one combo, with Halle whipping off the train and rocking the sheer catsuit underneath for the afterparty. Pretty and practical!
