Hi everyone!

As a young newspaper reporter I covered Reggie Bird’s triumphant return to Hobart after she won the first Australian series of Big Brother. Thousands of fans lined the streets wearing Reggie masks for a ticker tape parade. I even recall eating a Reggie Burger! Reggie’s life has sadly taken one tragic turn after another in the 14 years since then. We catch up with her on page 24 and find that, despite life’s many setbacks, the magnetic smile that won her so many fans back then still remains. Speaking of time flying, can you believe it’s been 12 years since Schapelle Corby was sentenced? After her enormous fight to return to Oz, she’ll be on home soil next week – only she’d rather be back in Bali! The saga continues…!
