500g gnocchi 1 head broc­coli, flo­rets, stalk 1cm pieces 10g but­ter 1 red onion, thinly sliced 1 gar­lic clove, finely chopped 2 tsp le­mon thyme leaves, plus sprigs, to serve ½ cup cream 150g moz­zarella, finely chopped 6 rind­less ba­con rash­ers, torn

1 In a large saucepan of boil­ing salted wa­ter, cook gnocchi and broc­coli 2 min­utes, or un­til all pieces float on sur­face and are just ten­der. Drain well. 2 In a large flame­proof bak­ing dish, melt but­ter on medium. Saute onion, gar­lic and le­mon thyme 4 min­utes. Stir in cream. Pre­heat grill to high. 3 Toss gnocchi and broc­coli through cream mix­ture. Sea­son to taste. Ar­range moz­zarella and ba­con on top of dish. Grill 5 min­utes, un­til broc­coli is cooked and ba­con crispy.
