When identical twins Kelli Bunker and Kerri Wall both gave birth to their own identical twins, it was a case of seeing double – then quadruple. Now the sisters and best friends have had a second set of twins each!

The 37-year-old sisters, from Utah in the US, teach at the same school and live on the same street, and they learnt they were pregnant two weeks apart the second time around.

Both sets of twins were born early, but Kelli’s came almost a month before Kerri’s. All four had to spend time in hospital to grow and put on weight. “For one week, we were together in the NICU [Neonatal Intensive Care Unit] – they set us up with our own little section,” Kerri recalls. “It was fun for us to share that, just like we’ve always shared everything else.””

With their husbands best friends, and givenn that they live so close to each other, the twin sisters can’t wait to watch their little ones grow up together.

And Kerri and Kelli will continue to support rt each other and encounter the coincidences that only identical twins do.

“We drive to work together, we end up wearing the same thing a lot of times and we still call each other every night to say goodnight,” Kerri says.

She believes her own twins will share a similar bond. “Wherever they end up, we know they’ll have a best friend for life!”
