Amanda De Warren speaks to Chris’s rat, Ratty

-

AMANDA SAYS Ratty tells me she passed about a year ago, aged four. A dog that is living also comes through, and the two of them jostle for attention, just like they did when Ratty was alive. They loved each other! The dog, Molly, says Ratty used to climb on her back and she’d walk around with her. Ratty tells me that Chris didn’t plan on getting her – her son dropped Ratty off when she was about six weeks old. From day one, she knew Chris loved her. Ratty shows me her antics, that she would run around on the kitchen bench and steal tissues from the box to make a nest. She loved car rides and had a two-level cage that she’d climb to the top of for a good view. Ratty often went camping with the family and liked making friends at the campsites. Chris’s dad also comes through, and does a strange laugh which I repeated and Chris knew it was him. Ratty wants people to know rats are misunderstood – most of them are friendly and loving just like her. CHRIS SAYS When I contacted Amanda I just wanted to see what she could come up with. Ratty had a special relationship with our dog, Molly, and Amanda picked up on that. I was blown away that she knew about Ratty’s little quirks. Amanda told me Ratty was truly happy and blessed to be so loved during her lifetime. Amanda also said my father came through laughing, but he was laughing at me, not with me. We didn’t have a good relationship. When he died five years ago he left everything to my brother, and I fought that in court. My husband and I then put a deposit on a house, but I got sick and my husband had to quit work to care for me and we lost the deposit. I believe Dad was laughing at my bad luck. I’m so happy with the reading and that Ratty is at peace.
