Chris tells Rusty
They formed a close bond on the set of The Mummy, but Russell Crowe got a little too close for comfort to co-star Annabelle Wallis at the movie’s Aussie premiere. Annabelle, 32, who’s been dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 40, since late 2015, looked shocked when Rusty nuzzled her neck from behind.
“Russell appeared behind her and starting kissing the back of her neck. She seemed startled and moved away from him and into the theatre,” says an onlooker.
To make matters even more awkward for the British beauty, Russell’s ex-wife Danielle Spencer was also there to witness the bizarre public display of affection.
Chris, 40, was nowhere to be seen but he will no-doubt be seething at the photos. His relationship with Annabelle, 32, has gone from strength to strength in recent months and last year she sparked rumours they were engaged when she showed off a ring.
Of her Mummy character Annabelle says, “I’m this blonde, blue-eyed woman who you can be fooled into thinking is quite safe but is actually rather dangerous.”
