YARN STAR

-

This project is an easy one that delivers impressive results. Try it in different sizes and colours STEP 1 Using a ruler and pencil, mark out a star shape on the foamcore board. Cut it out. STEP 2 Attach the end of the yarn to the star with a piece of sticky tape. STEP 3 Start wrapping the yarn around the star. STEP 4 When you reach an odd angle, use the hot-glue gun to secure the yarn ( you will need to do this frequently around the corners), then continue wrapping. STEP 5 When the star is completely wrapped in yarn, snip the end and tuck it under, securing to the foamcore board with a piece of sticky tape. WE USED White core foamboard (5mm) A2, $9.05, from Eckersley’s Art & Craft. Patons “Gigante” yarn, $14.99, from Spotlight.
