With theth five-yearfi anniversary of her divorce from Tom Cruise falling this week, Katie Holmes has been dreaming of the day she can finally go public with her new man, Jamie Foxx, without breaching her alleged divorce contract.
But friends say the actress and mum to 11-year-old Suri has been left heartbroken after Jamie himself let slip that he’s still living the bachelor life when the pair are apart.
Despite having been linked to Katie since 2013, when Jamie appeared on The Graham Norton Show last week, he joked that being single at his age is “tough”.
“I am getting older but people think I am younger,” Jamie, 49, said. “I was at a club the other night and a group of girls shouted my name. I was like, ‘Hey, what’s up?’ And they said, ‘We go to school with your daughter!’ You have to be so careful.
“When I was asked the other day by a 20-something girl how old I was, she looked at me as though 49 was a terminal disease,” he added.
Katie, 38, was spotted looking visibly distressed days after Jamie’s shocking revelation. It comes after the actor was spotted partying with notorious ladies’ man Leonardo Dicaprio just weeks earlier.
