In the pastpast, Prince Harry was a party animal and while there’s no denying he’s far more mature these days, he took the opportunity to let his hair down last week at London’s British Summer Time Hyde Park music festival. The prince and his mates enjoy
hand-in-hand and the other saying Everybody Needs Somebody To Love. The prince said it was “for someone special” and wondered if he could keep one frame and gift the other.
Given he’s already showered Meghan with jewellery during their year-long courtship, it’s thought he may have chosen something a little different when it came to an engagement present – along with the ring, of course.

Speaking of which, Woman’s Day has learned Harry has chosen a piece from Diana’s jewel collection to remodel into an engagement ring for Meghan.
While at first he was tossing up using something from her sapphire set, he’s decided on an emerald from one of his mother’s bracelets. And friends say the resulting ring is “flashy, but not ostentatious.” “It’s a way of linking his two big loves – his mother and his future wife,” says one mate.
With engagement rumours in overdrive, it’s likely we’ll see Meghan return to the UK very soon. We’re told the couple have made a pact never to spend more than a month apart.
According to friends of the pair, Meghan has made herself at home in Nottingham Cottage – Harry’s Kensington Palace quarters – and keeps a wardrobe of clothes there, as well as a shelf of organic cookbooks in the kitchen!
The couple are so smitten they’re already talking about children, which comes as no surprise given Harry has always said he’d love to be a dad.
“They’ll want to start a family as soon as possible,” says a royal insider. “Harry has found the girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with. He’s fuelling all the talk about the future… there’s no question they’re madly in love.”
