Financial feng shui

Rearranging your home could be the key to bolstering your bank account, according to Feng Shui Australia Director Mina R Zheng. Follow her simple tips to maximise harmony and prosperity in your house and watch the money flow in!

ENTRANCE

“This“Thi isi one of f theth most t important factors in feng shui, as it represents opportunities,” reveals Mina. “The entrance should not face the back door or window directly, as it means positive energy, which attracts wealth, flows in and straight out. If this is the case in your home, then add a partition or curtain in-between.”

BATHROOM

TheTh bathroomb h isi crucial.il “Cover all the drain holes to ensure negative energy cannot flow in from underground,” advises Mina. “If your bathroom is full of negative energy, it can affect your health and wealth.”

KITCHEN

“The“Th stovet – fi fire – governs our health and wellbeing, so the energy of the stove needs to be enhanced,” says Mina. “In most kitchens, the sink is next to or opposite the stove and, according to the fiveelements theory, water destroys fire. To improve the fire energy, put a pot plant between the sink and the stove. Once the stove is supported by the plant, your financial situation will improve.”

BEDROOM

“The bedroom is a place to relax and regenerate, so declutter and keep it clean,” says Mina. “If you have an ensuite, keep the door closed when you sleep – it’s better for energy flow.”
