We’ve only just about recovered from last year’s explosive finale, and now 24 new castaways are on their way to Samoa to battle it out for the title of Survivor. Divided into two new tribes, Asaga and Samatu, their first challenge is to swim 200m to shore to gain supplies, which will no doubt prove crucial this early on in the competition. And it’s safe to say this year’s bunch – which includes a doctor, Olympian and burger flipper – are ruthless. “I’m going to lie from day one,” promises labourer Henry. Jonathan Lapaglia returns as host for another gripping series.
