THE END of Posh & Becks!

They’re putting on a united front, but behind closed doors friends say the couple’s marriage is over

-

Just months ago they were celebrating two decades of romance. Now in shock claims rocking Hollywood, close friends of David and Victoria Beckham have alleged the couple’s marriage is over.

Insiders say while they’ve never been more financially successful – their family brand has amassed a fortune of more than $840 million – privately the couple’s relationship is in tatters and they have already secretly called time on their marriage. After 18 years as husband and wife, and four children, friends say they are now simply staying together in a bid to keep up appearances.

LIVING APART

Such claims were supported last week by news the couple are not only living separate lives but also living in separate quarters. Reports from the UK have shown the $8 million converted farmhouse the Beckham family will shortly call home in Oxfordshire, England, has two separate living areas, each of equal size and both with their own kitchen, bedrooms and courtyard.

“A huge party could go on in one part of the house and guests in the other wing would be none the wiser,” says one insider.

It’s a telltale sign for the formerly inseparable couple, who are rumoured to have been driven apart by David’s love of partying – reports of which first began to emerge in 2015.

In February this year, Victoria, 43, was said to be incensed when snaps of her 42-year old husband on a night out with model Poppy Delevingne in Hollywood emerged, while she and their kids Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12 and Harper, six, were home in London.

In July her rage only grew when the former footballer was seen looking worse for wear as he watched Ed Sheeran at Glastonbury festival, with video footage of the event going viral.

David is rarely on home soil these days – in addition to numerous lads holidays with his friend Dave Gardner, who is married to actress Liv Tyler, and bonding trips with his eldest son Brooklyn, he’s continuously crisscrossing the globe for celebrity events. Meanwhile, Victoria’s primarily based in London and rarely takes a day off from her job.

“Victoria is working harder than ever and is incredibly focused on running a business and being a working mother,”

‘Quite frankly, David’s bored. It’s led to a lot of partying’

says a source. “David has never had more time on his hands, despite his very successful business. He’s a doting dad and spends so much time with his kids but he still hasn’t got used to life without the routine of professional football. Quite frankly, he’s bored.

“It’s led to a lot of partying and nights out with friends like Dave, Alexa Chung and Poppy, which Victoria doesn’t like.”

KEEPING UP APPEARANCES

“It’s no secret they live separate lives,” says another insider, adding that David takes solace in spending time with the kids.

Despite this open secret, those in the know say both David and Victoria are doing their best to keep up appearances and continue their work as a united family.

With their net worth said to be more than the Queen’s – and still growing – their kids are now starting to make their own moves into the business, which relies on the support of all family members.

Brooklyn has recently released a photography book, Romeo has a successful modelling career, while Cruz released a single last Christmas, instantly skyrocketing to the top of the charts.

Every one of these successes is documented on the pair’s social media accounts – between them they have over 55.3 million followers on Instagram alone – and the continued success of their business ventures relies upon their togetherness as a family.

“Victoria and David might be growing apart in many ways, but they know the power of Brand Beckham has never been stronger,” a friend explains.
