EVA COUNSELS POSH & BECKS!
Amid rumours of a looming split between David and Victoria Beckham, friend Eva Longoria is playing couples counsellor in a last-ditch bid to save their 18-year marriage.
The Desperate Housewives star, 42, joined a miserable Posh, 43, and Becks, 42, on a tense dinner date in LA late last month, begging them to give it another shot.
“They may have looked glum, but she at least managed to get Victoria and David at the same table and talking again,” a mutual friend tells Woman’s Day. “As far as Eva is concerned, that’s a step in the right direction.
“She’s just come back from a loved-up holiday with her husband, and told David and Victoria they should go to a tropical island for a couple of weeks to put the romance back in their marriage. She says they’ve become too comfortable leading separate lives.”
Last week we revealed the pair are building separate living quarters in their new UK home. Meanwhile, a friend adds, both David and Victoria have talked to lawyers.
In news that may not surprise Bachelor fans, Richie Strahan and Alex Nation split more than six months ago! “They were worried if they announced it their profiles would come falling down, so they decided to say nothing,” tells a source, revealing why they’ve never confirmed the news.
According to our insider, Alex felt neglected by Richie and was disappointed he didn’t make good on his promise to set up home in Melbourne.
“Alex felt like Richie was super-keen whenever there was a red-carpet event and photo opportunity, but she had to beg him for time on their own,” our source reveals. Apparently, bad chemistry in the bedroom didn’t help the situation either!
While Alex’s recent date with model Kris Smith might not have gone any further because he was deemed “too arrogant”, we’re betting she won’t be single for long!
